Welcome to the Tairua "Culinary Experience" with
Raised in Westport on the South Island of New Zealand. Nick loved to cook from an early age, receiving a scholarship for cooking through the Department of Maori Affairs, & trained at one of New Zealands best restaurants owned by Chef Graham Brown. Nick traveled and worked in South Africa, Australia, France and England, while in England had the pleasure of cooking for "HRH" The Prince of Wales in Gloucestershire. His travels have provided the opportunity & experience to expand his culinary skills at all levels. Any one interested in learning how to cook like the experts or just wanting to have a fun time cooking, organise a group of 4-8 of your friends contact Karen and tell her what style of cooking you would like to explore and we will do the rest. Great way to catch up for the week end with friend you have not seen for a while enjoy their company while having a lot of fun in the kitchen and a wonderful dinner to finish. Have a work bonding time in the kitchen. Also available daytime only cooking coarse 10am - 5pm with food tastings. Special Catering Chef Nick would love to cater for your private/special occassion dinner while enjoying your stay at our lodge. Private dinner parties catered either at Tairua Coastal Lodge or in your home, food can be prepared for you to cook in your home or you can pick up or have us deliver to you.
